How often do you change your skincare products because you aren't happy with the results you are getting?
Here's the bad news: When you switch your products out, your skin goes through a period of adjustment, which sometimes will cause it to break out. If you switch your products every few weeks - you are creating a vicious cycle. Your skin will be in a constant state of adjustment and you may not be able to accurately determine whether or not a product is working because your skin will always be reacting to the changes you are making.
You'll find it a lot easier to get the results you want by practicing patience in your skincare routine. Give new products at least 6-8 weeks before determining whether or not they are working for you (unless you are experiencing severe breakouts that aren't plateauing off - in which case, get off that product!).
If you want to find out how your skin is going to react to a new product, it will take time to get past the period of adjustment and observe the actual results.
So before you change your products out (again) - take a deep breath. And wait just a little longer.
